Back when details were beginning to surface about Schiaparelli’s revival, Diego Della Valle (who owns the brand) mentioned the term “pret-a-couture,” which would reportedly fall somewhere between ready-to-wear and made-to-measure couture. Marco Zanini later showed his first haute couture collection for Schiaparelli in January of 2014 and the house has shown couture every season since, most recently under new creative director Bertrand Guyon. That pret-a-couture concept has been kept under wraps — until now.

A rep for Schiaparelli confirms that, for the first time, Guyon will present a Schiaparelli pret-a-couture collection for spring 2016 during the forthcoming Paris Fashion Week. As WWD first reported, it will be shown over the course of four days and will only be available to purchase at the Schiaparelli headquarters in Paris. The rep described it as “Schiaparelli’s version of RTW.” Though, clearly, it’s still going to be very exclusive. (And likely very expensive.)
