Rihanna Debuts Collection for Puma

Rihanna, who now helms the title of Brand Ambassador and Women’s Creative Director of sportswear brand Puma, recently joined fellow brand ambassadors Meek Mill and Usain Bolt in the Forever Faster campaign.

This week, the Barbadian singer, actress, and fashion designer reveals her debut collection for the German sporting label, Puma by Rihanna, with design assistance from Mr. Completely. The marketing visual for the collection (seen above) also stars Travi$ Scott, whom the pop diva is rumoured to be currently dating.

The collection is now available on Puma.com as well as at an exclusive pop-up boutique at 312 Bowery Street from 15 to 17 September, timed to coincide with the ongoing New York Fashion Week.

A Puma sneaker-shoe named the Puma Creeper, is the highlight of Rihanna’s design contributions. Priced at US$120, the all-black and all-tan editions, both with gum soles, will be released on 25 September.

She adds, “Partnering with Puma has given me the opportunity to create pieces that are unique and unexpected. I really wanted to dig into their archive and give classic silhouettes my own spin. The Puma Creeper is just that.”
